Tool workshop/ Collective mapping dynamics: senses and perceptions of daily routes / ALTOS 3
Maps are developed from the knowledges that participants share. The mapping process involves building meaning in a collective way, based on the appearance of critical statements. Mapping is a disruptive practice that creates a dispute with installed narratives. It’s also a creative practice that designs new ways of communication and interpellation, based on the activation of playful dynamics and visual tools. In this workshop, we will put a critical visualization exercise into practice, asking participants to choose and draw some of the daily routs they do around the city. Then, we will share a series of questions that will encourage participants to broaden their emotional memory, their senses and their perceptions, with the objective of pointing out and examining more specific issues about that territorial weft.
