Open Activity. Reaching Outside of their Walls: Designing Museums for Inclusion
Museums are considered public spaces and, as such, have civic responsibilities to serve their various communities. What role can design and designers play in museums to fulfill this responsibility? Who do museums design things for? And furthermore, can design and creative development teams contribute to the transformation of our understanding and use of public spaces such as museums?
