Chaos at the Museum is a congress that mixes inspirational dialogue, practical and creative workshops, and a dynamic group of attendees to reflect on the relationship between the museum and its surroundings. Over four days we will share experiences that empower museums to move outside of their walls, and advocate for their role as civic institutions. One hundred fifty participants and speakers from around the world will come together to discuss, invent, and create at the Buenos Aires civic center.

Since spaces for this event are limited, a selection committee will evaluate each form and select about 150 participants. Applicants will be chosen based on their training, experience and ideas, and to achieve a balanced mix of participation from Latin America and the rest of the world.
